Are you 9 to 17 years old? Would you like to learn to play the fife, drum or carry our colors? Are you willing to practice weekly and earn your uniform?

If you would like to learn Military Bearing and obtain the skills needed to join the LCFDC then we want to talk with you. Instruction is free and the cost to join the corps is nominal.

The members of the Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps travel and perform all over our beautiful nation. They find themselves sleeping in tents at historical sites as well as hotels in distant states. The fun and comraderie that comes along with Corps membership is a life changing experience.

About our Parents Group

Fort Massac Grand Encampment 2013     Metropolis, Illinois

Fort Massac Grand Encampment 2013     Metropolis, Illinois

A strong and active Parents Group provide a great deal of behind-the-scenes support.  Parents have the unique opportunity to experience the Corps alongside their children.  The Corps is family-friendly, and parent involvement is encouraged.  Parents make up our Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and hold other important positions such as Quartermaster, Events Coordinator, and Director of Music. Parents chaperone events, participate in encampments, provide transportation to and from events, and monitor traffic during parades, just to name a few.
